Mr. Everett S. Fennelly, 84, of Tyringham, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Everett was born in Tyringham on March 23, 1939, the son of Richard and Amy Woodin Fennelly. He was educated locally and was a graduate of Lee High School.
Mr. Fennelly served in the United States Army from 1958 until 1960 when he was honorably discharged. On his return home he worked as a carpenter for RJ Nickerson and then went into business for himself. He was a finish carpenter and did amazing work. Mr. Fennelly retired in 2023.
Everett was also a past selectman, assessor and member of the Tyringham Volunteer Fire Co for over forty years.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, the former Mary Ann Serra, whom he married in 1959; his son, Everett and his wife, Mary Beth; his daughters: Amy and her husband, Byron, and Kathleen Harris; his foster son, Charlie and his wife, Helene; his grandchildren: Luke Fennelly and Liam Harris; and step-grandchildren: Philip, Jordan, Anna, Levi, Autumn, and Winslow Rendever. In addition he also leaves behind his brothers: Willis and Tom Fennelly.
Everett was predeceased by his twin brother, Edward, in 2005.
