Allan D. Kendall, 74, of Alan-A-Dale Drive in Becket, MA, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, September 16th, at his home. Born in New Britain, CT on July 22, 1941, the son of James and Genevieve Bielska Kendall, Allan grew-up in Plainville, CT and was educated in the schools there. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 1960 until February 1961. He was a retired maintenance man at the Wyantenuck Country Club in Gt. Barrington, MA. He leaves his former wife Sandra Kral of Becket; his two daughters Glenda L. Hamling and her husband Mike of Becket and Sherry J. Kendall of Bristol, CT; five brothers: Lawrence, Wesley, Dennis and Terry all of Connecticut and Jan of North Carolina. In addition, Allan leaves five grandchildren: Emily, Katelyn, Rebecca, Aaron and Stephen. Services for Mr. Kendall will be private at the request of the family.
