Charlotte Isaacs, 87, formerly of Stockbridge, died Tuesday evening at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility in Pittsfield. She was born on December 9, 1927, in New York City, the daughter of Carl and Florence Eisenberg Lapin. She attended schools in New York City. In the early 1960's she married Jacob Isaacs and they moved to Stockbridge in 1967, he died in 1971. Mrs. Isaacs was a Real Estate Agent / Broker in Stockbridge. She enjoyed music, art, the New York Yankees and was a fan of Tiger Woods. She was an advocate for children and animals and was a longtime vegetarian. She is survived by her brother, Earl Lapin of Maryland and a close friend, Loretta Tenuta and her family of West Stockbridge. A graveside service for Charlotte Isaacs will be held on Monday, November 16th in the Stockbridge Cemetery at 10 AM.
