Christine Louise Skorput, aged 83, died October 29th 2015 at the Laurel Lake Assisted Living Center. Christine was born in Pittsfield, MA on August 23rd, 1932 to Guy and Josephine Frana Dellea. After graduation from Williams High School in Stockbridge, she worked in restaurant service, raised five children, and in later life worked as a home health aide. Christine was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge. She was an avid reader, poet, extraordinary cook, and enjoyed scrabble and bingo. She is survived by her children, Terry Finneran and her husband Tom Finneran of Ridgefield CT, Christine Cobb of Lenox MA, W. James Skorput of Housatonic and Jane Skorput of Pittsfield. Her fourth child Laura Valenti passed away last December. Her siblings are Eugene Dellea and fiancé Barbara Alibozek of West Stockbridge, Cynthia Haywood of Interlaken and Guy Dellea of Pittsfield. Christine leaves eight grandchildren: Megan, Brendan, Kristen, Kyle, Tara, Alex, Calynn, Danielle, and four great grandchildren: Ashland, Xavier, Margo and Kelsey. A memorial service for Christine Skorput will be held on Friday, November 6th at 2pm at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee. Visiting hours follow the service and conclude at 5pm.
