Jared was a kind, fun-loving young man who enjoyed working with computers, enjoyed attending concerts with his dad, and sitting around the fire-pit with friends and family. Jared "will always be my little man," says his dad.

Jared leaves his dad, Barry Gerard, of Lanesborough, MA. He also leaves many uncles, aunts, and cousins. John, Gail, and Bridget Tyer, Nanette Gerard, Gary, Kathy, Justin, Courtney, and Kayla Allen, Phil, Mike, Trisha, and Amy Allen. Sharon, Kristi, Megan, and Seamus.

Jared was predeceased by his mother, Susan Gerard, his maternal grandparents, Sheldon and Sophie Allen, and his paternal grandparents, James and Eddie Gerard.

A funeral will be held at Kelly Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 30, at 11:00, with burial to follow at Saint Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service, beginning at 9:00, until the time of the service.
