Jeanne M. Mosca (O'Donnell), the matriarch of our family, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026, 11 days short of her 96th birthday. Jeanne was born on October 28, 1930, to Walter T. O'Donnell and Marvelle Ford O'Donnell. Jeanne grew up in Pittsfield and attended local schools. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1948.

Jeanne married the love of her life, Thomas P. Mosca, ("Papa Tom" to all) in 1951. They spent 54 beautiful years together. Papa Tom passed in 2005. Jeanne had several loves. She loved art, as she could draw anything. Her birds got to know her well as she would feed them every day. When she was not in her beautiful flower garden singing with her huge sun hat on, she could be found sitting under her massive maple tree which Tom planted when they first moved to Lee in 1960. Jeanne also collected dolls. Jeanne was employed at the Bradley St. School up until it closed. She then worked at Lee Central School until she retired after 35 years.

Jeanne leaves her daughter, Bonnie, and favorite son in law, John ("Jonesy"), her son, Greg, and his girlfriend, Gillian Voight, and her son Tommy. Jeanne also leaves her beloved grandchildren Matthew Jones and his partner Joe, Megan and her husband Derek Doweese, Austin and his wife Kellie, and Hunter and his wife Samantha. Jeanne also leaves her precious great-grandchildren Ella, Noah, Parker and Carter. The family would like to thank Kellie Mosca for the love and devotion she gave to Jeanne over the past 2 years.

Jeanne chose not to have any services, so in her memory, you may make a donation to the Berkshire Humane Society, in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
