Jennie D. O'Neil, 89, of Lee, MA passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2013. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 6, 1924, the daughter of Vito and Catherine Furcinitie Lagrotteria. Jennie married Henry F. O'Neil, Sr. on July 1, 1942. Henry passed away on August 19, 1980. She was employed for many years at the Berkshire Coat Factory and S & J Variety. She later wintered in Florida and was head of housekeeping at Jacobs Pillow in the summer, retiring in 1998. Jennie leaves her four sons, Henry F. O'Neil, Jr. and his wife, Elisa, of Yucca Valley, CA, Stephen O'Neil and his wife, Susan, of Stephentown, NY, Charles O'Neil and his wife, Leah, of Pittsfield, MA and David O'Neil and his wife, Anne, of Victoria, BC, one sister, Antoinette LeBarnes of Pittsfield, MA as well as ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She also leaves her former daughter-in-law, Marcia A. Jaouen of Lee, MA. A graveside service for Jennie O'Neil will be held Friday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cheshire Cemetery in Cheshire, MA.
