Joseph A. Touponce, Sr., 37, of First Street, Pittsfield, MA died Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Great Barrington on June 25, 1975 the son of Francis "Mike" and April Jaquins Touponce . He was educated in the Lee and Dalton Schools and was the owner and operator of J.T. Landscaping of Lee for the past 11 years. He enjoyed motorcycling and all other outdoor activities. In addition to his mother April and her life partner Tom Kopka of Dalton and his father Mike and his wife Beverly Ann of Pittsfield, he leaves one son, Joseph A. Touponce, Jr. of Pittsfield and one daughter, Brandi L. Touponce of Pittsfield; one sister, Nicole L. Kopka of Pittsfield; his fiancé, Joanie Nielson of Pittsfield; two step sons, Kevin Roosa, and Anthony Intelisano; his step-mother, Beverly-Ann Touponce of Pittsfield; three step-sisters, Nicole Murray of Pittsfield, Nancy Murray of Becket, Gracie Hassan and her husband Jared of Lee; and a step-brother David Murray and his wife Clarissa of Pittsfield. The Funeral will be held Tuesday, April 9 at 11am at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home will be Monday from 4-7.
