Obituary

Dear God,

On May 28, 1932, You smiled upon the world and out of the love within Your heart was born a little girl who was named Marjorie which means pearl. And what a pearl she was. Marjorie was raised in New Jersey and lived there until You oh Lord led her to New York to care for Your priests for twenty years in the Archdiocese of New York.

Dear Jesus, You then moved Margie and asked her to work with the littlest of your children, the preschoolers, which she did for a few years.

While in New York Margie was active doing parish work as well. Prior to coming to New York, Margie was a Third Order Carmelite, but since coming to New York she was in the Alter Rosary Society, Legion of Mary and was a Eucharistic Minister as well as being in the choir.

As if she did not have enough to do between jobs and church associations I thank you Jesus for bringing her to my prayer group. Our hearts beat as one and we became soul mates, which eventually led us to the alter. The road was not always smooth, but it continues to lead us to the Heart of Jesus.

Eventually she and her husband Frederick relocated to Stockbridge and the Lord opened still more doors. Margie became involved with CCD at St. Mary's Church as well as being a frequent visitor to the oratory. In between she volunteered at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy.

And now on the 10th day of March, Margie was called home where she was reunited with her parents, Fred and Adeline Klipple, sister, Dolores Roemer, and aunts, Antoinette Laue and Jean Swenson. For us who remain including nieces Cyndi and Kym and nephew Ron, the task of continuing the work that Jesus began through Margie is left for us.

Dear friends, you are invited to come to the Kelly Funeral Home to see Margie off to her final resting place as she is welcomed into the arms of Jesus. The Visiting Hours will be Monday, March 15th 9AM -10:30AM. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM at St. Mary's Church in Lee.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary's Church in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA  01238.

Thank you Jesus for her love and support in a life lived for years.

Face masks and social distancing will be required for the Visiting Hours.  We ask that people enter through the Main Street entrance in the front of the building and exit through our parking lot door.
