Patricia Kent Bliven, 82, of Judd Road, Otis, passed away on June 20th at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington. Born on February 1, 1931 in Peru, Indiana she was the daughter of George G. and Florence E. Cornwell Kent and was a graduate of Lee High School. Patricia was a member and active volunteer at the First Congregational Church in Otis. She liked sewing, knitting, paint by numbers, and jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed vacation tenting in the Northeast with her family. Patricia leaves behind her beloved husband, Raymond Frank Bliven, Jr., whom she married on October 23, 1954, as well as three daughters, Gail Orr and her husband, Bill, of Milton, VT, Becky Bliven of Otis and Flo Pitoniak and her husband, Michael, of Westfield,MA; one sister, Nancy K. Leonard of Dover, NH, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Raymond F. Bliven, III and a brother Thomas G. Kent. Services for Patricia Bliven will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd at 5pm at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA. Burial will follow in the Otis Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 3-5pm.
