Patricia Pratt Nguyen, at the age of 56, died at home after a battle with metastatic lung cancer. Patricia graduated from Lee High School, Pittsfield School of Practical Nursing and Springfield Technical Community College. Patricia was born in Tewskbury, MA on December 16, 1957, the daughter of Marion Pratt, and adopted by her grandfather, Robert (Dick) Pratt and his second wife, Catharine Pratt. Patricia married Michael Deane in Pittsfield and later divorced. She met and married Phap D. Nguyen in Springfield, MA. Patricia worked at Laurel Lake Center in Lee and for various facilities as an Agency Nurse; the last four years she worked at Berkshire Place in Pittsfield, which she loved. The staff was very good to her through her tragedies and illnesses. Patricia leaves behind her beloved husband, Phap, whom she married May 12, 1990 and her children; daughter Jamie Deane Cubi and Jamie's special significant other, Bruce Alvarez, and their children, Jessica and Azreal; a son Jeremy Deane and his children, Daylonna, Dayrahlin, Sierra, and Jeremy Jr; another son, Bryan Nguyen, and another daughter, Catharine Nguyen and her husband, Sardor Alimukhamedov. She had thirteen siblings and two half-sisters; Nancy Cianchetta and her husband, Adrien Lussier, and Antoinette Cianchetta, all of Boston, MA. Patricia is also survived by many important people in her life, including her sisters Dorothy Heath of Housatonic and Judy Galley of PA; nephew, Larry Brown of PA; Patsy Dedrick and her daughters, Adrienne and Kelly, all of whom were there for her illness. She also acknowledges her two special CNA's, Pat Meader and Debbie Smith, who also helped her through her illness, as well as those not mentioned - they are not forgotten and she loved them all. Visiting hours will be at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee on Tuesday October 14th from 11AM until 2 PM with a service starting at 2 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, it is Patricia's wish that memorial donations be made to her husband, Phap Nguyen.
