Peter G. LaRocque, 54, of George Street, Lee, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Pittsfield, MA on July 8, 1959, son of Margaret "Betty" Ford LaRocque and the late Francis B. LaRocque. He was educated in Lee Schools and was a 1977 graduate of Lee High School. Peter worked in the natural gas field and received his Master Gas Fitter License. At the time of his death, he was working for Kimball Fuel Co. in Great Barrington. Peter leaves his wife, Wendy C. LaRocque. In addition to his mother and wife of Lee, Peter is also survived by his step-son, Bryan P. Comalli and his wife, Heidi, of Adams, MA, one brother; Thomas J. LaRocque of Lee, five sisters; Nancy A. Peetros and her husband, Mark, of Lee; Christine M. Barber and her husband, Dave, of Pittsfield; his twin sister, Pamela G. Rabbu and her husband, Abdul, of Lee; Karen M. LaRocque and her husband, Robert Jones, of Stockbridge, and Kim M. Gleason of Rochester, NY; as well as fifteen nieces and nephews who were very loved by their uncle. Funeral Services for Peter LaRocque will be Thursday, June 19, at 10:30 AM at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238. Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 18 from 4-7 PM.
