W. Michael O'Laughlin, 72, of Main St. in Lee, died Wednesday May, 13th at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was born in Pittsfield on October 5, 1942 the son of William and Maureen Mandall O'Laughlin. He was educated in the Dalton Schools and was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Pittsfield. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard after high school and then worked for the Berkshire Gas Company until retiring due to a disability from an automobile accident. Mike enjoyed golf and was a former member of the Greenock Country Club in Lee. He leaves his son; Michael M. O'Laughlin and his fiancée Kelly Beless and her daughters Alex and Sidney of Yarmouth Port, MA, one sister; Diane O'Laughlin of Pittsfield, and his two grandchildren; Michaela and Katherine. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
