Albert “Bert” Williams, 78, of Lee, MA, died Sunday afternoon at Baystate Medical Center with his family by his side.
Bert was born on June 19, 1943, the son of Arthur and Christine Pratt Williams. He was educated in Lee Schools.
For 35 years, he owned and operated Williams Auto Glass. He later worked as a Master Mechanic for D.F. Lane, B & B Landscaping and then retired from Modeco Inc. in Lee. Bert loved Deer hunting at the O’Brien Deer Camp and especially enjoyed working outside with his grandson, Dom.
On August 7, 1965, Bert married Karen Winters, she died on May 23, 2019.
He is survived by; two sons: Keith Williams and his wife Sandi of Lee and Timothy Williams and his wife Diane “DeDe” of Lee; four grandchildren: Ashley, Linsey, Cayce and Dominic.
Besides his wife, Bert is predeceased by his son Chad Williams and a grandson Nicholas Williams.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 3rd at 10 AM at Tyringham Cemetery in the Town of Tyringham. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, September 2nd from 4-6 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home.
