Barbara Ann Simone

Barbara “Barb” Simone was a caring and kind mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on August 21, 2022 at age 55.

She was born to Michael and Ann Simone Sr. of Lee, MA. She graduated from Lee High School in 1985. Barb enjoyed road trips and listening to classic rock. She was a good cook and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving parents Michael and Ann Simone Sr. of Lee, MA; her siblings: Sandra (Thomas) Garrity of Lee, MA, Gina (Fred) Bowman of Mystic, CT, and Michael (Tobey) Simone of Lee, MA; her children: Samantha (Frank) Maher of Richmond, MA, and Danielle Langdon of Great Barrington, MA: her grandchildren: Christopher and Adam Anderson, Matthew and Vincent Maher; as well as aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews.

Following private funeral services, a public Celebration of Life will be held at Greenock Country Club at 12noon on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s School in Lee, in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
