Betty J. (Farnham) Clark

Betty J. Clark of Pine Street of South Lee died Wednesday evening, December 22, 2021 at her home.

Betty was born in Becket on November 6, 1930. She was the daughter of Charles and Flora Crane Farnham. Betty was a graduate of Lee High School. After graduation Betty worked on the Farnham family farm and Monument Mills in Housatonic.

Betty married Francis Clark Sr. on June 1st, 1957. Together they raised eight children. Mr. Clark died in 2017.

Betty remained a home maker until the children were in school. Betty waitressed at the Egremont Country Club, Stockbridge Country Club and the Wyuanentuck Country Club until she retired.

Mrs. Clark leaves behind five daughters: Terrie L. Gardino (Ray), Gail E. Guarda (Carmelo), Jean M. Robbins (Wayne), Karen L. Robarge (Randy) and Lori B. Decker (Dennis). She is also survived by three sons: Francis E. Clark Jr (Jennie), James S. Clark and Dale A. Clark (Linda).

Betty leaves behind her grandchildren: Joseph and Jennifer Gardino, Buddy and Ellie Clark, James Clark, Dale Jr. and Matthew Clark, Michelle, Dominic and Christopher Guarda, Samantha, Nicole and Anthony Robarge, Kaitlyn and Brooke Decker and great-granddaughter, Madison Gardino. She also leaves behind her brother, Charles Farnham.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Francis E. Clark, Sr. and her sisters, Sally Miner and Nancy Martin.

Funeral services will be held at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee, with Pastor Charles Van Ausdall officiating, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 11AM. A Visiting Hour will be held from 10-11AM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tyringham Cemetery Fund in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
