Denise Robertson Holland died peacefully on Friday, February 7th with her husband at her side in Spring Hill, Florida. Denise was born on August 21,1950 to Francis Robertson and Arlene Robertson. She grew up in Andover, MA and was a talented dancer. She graduated from Andover High School in 1968. She then attended and graduated from Andover School of Business and worked at several local businesses before finding a long-term career at Brockway-Smith Company working at their locations in Andover, Hatfield, and Coxsackie, New York. Upon retirement Denise relocated to Timber Pines residential community in Spring Hill, Florida. She used her business talents to maintain business records for family members and used her sharp thinking skills to compete in Mahjong, Name that Tune, and various other card game tournaments. In addition, Denise was a skilled craftsperson making handbags, quilts, and other designer articles that have become cherished gifts to many family members and friends. Recently Denise became a member of her local Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.). She was smart, industrious, and quick witted. Throughout her life, Denise would often be found enjoying the company of her beloved pets. She leaves behind her two dogs, Buffy and Ruby. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend.
Denise is survived by her husband Ralph Holland of Timber Pines, her sister Kathleen Bort of Wilmington MA, her sister Debra Sheaff (Robert)of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Francis Robertson (Heather) of Billerica. Of great importance to Denise were her five nieces: Kathryn Edwards (Jonathan) of Wilmington, MA, Joanna Hall (Nathan) of Honea Path SC, Kelsey Haded (Connor) of Billerica MA, and Kylie and Kolby Sheaff of Haverhill, MA. Denise adored these girls and always looked forward to seeing and hearing from them.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Church Lenox Dale, MA at 10:00am followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lee, MA with Monsignor John J. Bonzagni officiating. Memorial donations may be made to an organization of your choice.
