Dianne Fennelly, 77, a longtime resident of Tyringham, died Tuesday morning at her residence at Crossways Village in Lee.
Dianne was born in Springfield, MA on May 30, 1945 with her twin sister, Donna L. Tripp. She was the daughter of Walter and Viola Belle Chase Keiderling. She grew up in Otis, MA and graduated from Lee High School and Pittsfield Vocational School as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
On October 5, 1963, she married Edward S. Fennelly of Tyringham, he died April 21, 2005.
Dianne was a school nurse for Avalon School in Monterey and Eagleton School in Gt. Barrington, a nursing consultant for McClelland’s Drug Store in Lee, Springside Nursing Home in Pittsfield and retired from Baroco Day Habilitation Center in Pittsfield. She was a Red Cross swimming instructor for many children in the early 1970’s. She enjoyed knitting, collecting hummingbird items, flower gardening, swimming, being a hockey mom and spending time with her family.
Dianne is survived by two sons: Adam Fennelly and his partner Christine Collins of Lee and Darrell Fennelly and his wife Marcy of Lee; one daughter: Pat Boyle and her husband Mike of Pittsfield; two brothers: Wayne (Annette Marcoux) Keiderling of Warren, ME and Glenn (Rochelle) Keiderling of Tolland, MA; her twin sister: Donna (Jerry) Tripp of Pittsfield, MA; seven grandchildren: Lynette Julien, Diana Fillio, Michael Boyle III, Katie Fennelly, Connor Fennelly, Aiden Fennelly and Ian Fennelly; seven great grandchildren She was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Keiderling in April of this year and her sister in law Joanne Keiderling.
Funeral services for Dianne Fennelly will be on Tuesday, August 23 at 10 AM at the Tyringham Union Church with Pastor Ed Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyringham Cemetery.
