Donna Thayer-Touhey

Donna Thayer-Touhey, of Lee, MA passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

Donna was born October 31, 1956, in Springfield, MA, the daughter of John and Nancy Oski Thayer.

 She is survived by her husband William Touhey, her son Sam Touhey and his fiancé Sabrina Gogan, her daughter Tanya and her husband David Harrison of Keller, TX and her beloved dogs: Max, Stella, Molly, Frankie and Oscar.  She also leaves behind her brother John Thayer and his wife Joann, of Franklin, MA, her sister Brenda Thayer of Hyannis, MA, and younger brother Joey Pietruszkiewicz and his wife Karen of Marlborough, CT.

She is predeceased by her mother Nancy Pietruszkiewicz; brother James “Chipper” Thayer, and brother-in-law Edward Touhey.

As a respected business person within the community she had the opportunity to share her big smile with everyone.  The world has lost one of the most loving people way too soon.  No matter who she met while walking down the street, going to the bank, grocery store, or vet, she always made you feel important.

She loved her family dearly and will be missed by her nieces Janna and husband Sean Egnitz, Jacey and her husband Joe Molle, and nephew Matthew and Christina Pietruszkiewicz.  She adored her great nieces Maddie, Anabele, Charlie, and Olivia and her great nephews Gabe, Ryan, and Eli.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 11th at 1 PM at the Apple Tree Inn in Lenox. Visiting hours will be on Friday, September 10th from 4-6 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Berkshire Humane Society in c/o the Kelly Funeral Home  3 Main Street   Lee, MA  01238.
