Edwin R. Griffin, Jr.

Mr. Edwin R. Griffin, Jr., 72, of Lee, died Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Ed was born in Lee on October 25, 1952, the son of the late Edwin and Margaret LaFrance Griffin. He was raised and educated in Lee and a graduate of Lee High School. 
Mr. Griffin worked as a machinist in the local mills up to his retirement. Ed enjoyed collecting coins and in younger years, bowling, hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling throughout the woods. Ed was also a loyal fan of both NY Mets and Giants. Most important to Mr. Griffin was spending time with his family.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his daughter, Desiree Griffin and her husband, Larry Cobb; his granddaughter, Mikaila; great-grandchildren, Kailyn and Elias; and his nieces, Courtney and Shelly.
He was predeceased by his son, Edwin R. Griffin, III, and his sister, Debbie Newbold.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July, 28, 2025, 1PM at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting Hours will be held at the Kelly Funeral Home from 11-12:45PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Griffin’s memory may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society. Checks made out to the BHS may be mailed in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
