James Frederick Braim, 83, of Lee, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023.
Jim was born on February 6, 1940 in Newton, MA. Jim was the eldest of two children of the late James and Isabel Braim of Hopkinton, MA. Jim attended private schooling before obtaining a mechanized agriculture degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1962. Upon graduation he worked at High Lawn Farm for 62 years, many as the manager. He loved his job and was very proud to work for the Wilde family.
While attending the University of New Hampshire Jim briefly played on the UNH hockey team and enjoyed spending time in the New Hampshire mountains. His passion for hockey and sports remained a constant pastime as he often watched the Red Sox and Bruins play. Tennis with the Lee Tennis Association was a regular weekly activity, and the occasional golf outing was also enjoyable. Most of all vacationing at his cottage in Maine was very enjoyable and something he eagerly looked forward to each year.
