James Travis Santolin, 61, died at his home Saturday evening surrounded by his family.
He was born in Pittsfield on August 20, 1960, the son of Anthony Santolin and Joan Richards Potter.
Jimmy graduated from Lee High School in 1978 and went on to work at the Rising Paper Company as a Millwright. On March 30, 1985 he married the former Deborah Goodfellow. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He was loved by his family and many friends.
Jimmy is survived by his mother: Joan Potter of Lee; his wife: Deborah Santolin of Lee; his son: Travis (Jaymee) of Lee; his daughter: Lisa (Ryan) of Lee; his brother: Michael (Kim) Santolin of Pittsfield; four sisters: Jane (Dave) Belanger of Lee, Tracy Potter of Hinsdale, Diane (Bob) Gaul of Florida and Patty (Dave) Carlino of Lee; five grandchildren: Shayla, Aubrey, Trentonn, Isabella and Kayden; several nieces and nephews, and his dog Delia.
He was predeceased by his father, Anthony Santolin, his stepfather, Norman “Chick” Potter and a brother Ricky Santolin.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 11:30 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lee. Visiting hours will be Saturday morning from 9 – 11 AM at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.
