Jane Retallick Brooks, 98, of George Street in Lee, died Wednesday, July 30th at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Jane was born on March 28, 1927 in Pittsfield, the daughter of David W. and Vera Ayers Retallick. She attended Pittsfield schools graduating from Pittsfield High School in 1945 and then from Pittsfield Secretarial School.
Mrs. Brooks was a past Worthy Advisor of Rainbow for Girls #45, past president of Lee Jaycee-ettes and Lee Kiawane–annes. She was a member of the former St. George’s Church in Lee.
On November 23, 1950 she married George A. Brooks, he died on February 9, 2011.
She is survived by her son, George Brooks, Jr., and his wife, Tracy, of Lee, and her daughter, Challis and her husband, Arthur Krulewitz, of New Durham, NH; Six grandchildren: Audra O’Brien, Cameron Brooks, Kathryn Hiser, Andrew Krulewitz, Neil Krulewitz and Sarah Krulewitz; Six great-grandchildren: Bentley, Wesley, Mackenzie, Lyla, Vigo and Lewis; and her nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private for the family.
