Jane P. Skorput

Jane P. Skorput, 65 years of age passed peacefully on June 25, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 31, 1960, Jane grew up in West Stockbridge MA. She was the daughter of the late Walter W. Skorput and Christine L. Dellea Skorput.

She attended Village School in West Stockbridge and graduated from Monument Regional High School.

Jane lived independently in Pittsfield, MA for many years where she became an active member of her community. She enjoyed participating in community theater and singing. Jane was known for her enthusiasm and love of performing karaoke and she was a devoted animal lover. Jane volunteered at several local animal shelters. She was also an avid history buff as well as a movie enthusiast. She particularly LOVED Robert Mitchem films. Jane enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the Berkshire’s with her friends and family.

Jane is survived by her sisters Terry Finneran (Thomas), and Christine Cobb, her brother Walter Skorput (Lisa) and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her sister, Laura Valenti.

Jane will be remembered for her kindness, independent spirit, and love of music, and her compassion for animals.

She brought much joy to her family and friends.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
