Jill Marie Cozzaglio, daughter of Stephen and Sandra Primmer Cozzaglio, has gone to a better place on November 27th, Thanksgiving Day, at 7 AM. Her partner and caregiver, Douglas Fuhlbrigge was with her when she passed. Jill was born at Berkshire Medical Center on August 7, 1971.
Jill graduated from Lee High School as Salutatorian in 1989. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Statistical Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (1993) and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1996). Jill was employed by Lee Bank for over 27 years.
She was a friend to all and a mentor to many. She was a woman of great strength, endurance and no complaints about her Ovarian Cancer over the past six years. Her favorite pastime was anything to do with the Boston Bruins. She was a dedicated follower of them. The Boston Red Sox were next. Jigsaw puzzles kept her busy and her mind was well occupied doing them with her friends Holly and Rhonda. Baking, especially bread, was another piece of her life.
She leaves her partner, Doug, of 21 years; her mother, Sandra; two brothers, Jeff and Jay (Patti-Jo); her nephews, Jon (Lauren), Chris and Stephen; nieces, Micheal (Jesse Hapke) and Jessica as well as Tasha and Doug’s grandchildren, Isabeau and Elijah. She was predeceased by her father, Stephen, in 2017.
There will be no funeral serves. A celebration of life will be in the Spring. Donations in her honor, may be made to the Berkshires Bruins Youth Hockey in c/o the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
