Karina Kruse, 79, owner of The Marskandiser Florist in Lee, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 21st with her entire loving family at her side.
Karina was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on May 28, 1942, the daughter of Joergen and Mathilde Larsen Knygberg. Karina settled in Lee in 1970 where she showcased her many talents over the years.
There are many left behind to cherish her memory including her four children: Robert Kruse, Michael Kruse, AnnChristine Gormley and her husband, Sean and Martin Kruse and his wife Jean; her grandchildren: Daniel, Andrè, Mark, Alexandra, Peter, Jack, Michael, Sophia, and Olivia; and her first great-grandchild who is on the way. She was predeceased by her husband, John, her sister, Ketty Hansen. As always, she will be missed by her companion Cooper and the many other beloved dogs she cared for over the years.
Karina’s family extends an invitation to all to please come and share some Hygge Time at The Marskandiser Florist, 925 Cape Street, Lee, this Saturday, November 27th, from 12-4PM.
Karina was an incredible florist, and although she rarely received flowers she always enjoyed them when she did. Any gesture will be remembered and for those wishing to make a donation in her memory you may do so to the National Audubon Society or The National Park Service in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
