Laura E. Cummings, 40, of Lee, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Berkshire Medical Center with her loving family at her side, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Laura was born on March 3, 1984, the daughter of the late Larry T. Griffin, and Sally Fresia Griffin. Laura leaves behind her beloved husband Alan, her four beautiful children Emma, Gabe, Anthony, and Michael. In addition she leaves behind her mother Sally, her brother Eric, her sister-in-law Hannah, and their baby, Larry, whom they are eagerly expecting in September. Larry is named in honor of Laura's father.
Laura was a devoted wife and mother. Her children were the center of her life. Her talent in the garden, kitchen, and with crafts ensured that there were healthy meals, extraordinary birthday cakes and fun Trunk - or -Treat displays. She was active in the PTO and a supporter of the sport teams at the schools. As a talented photographer she was always documenting the games. Alan and Laura were competitive body builders who lead an active, healthy lifestyle that included workouts, hiking, and outdoor activities with their family. Laura was always available to share her talents and expertise with those that needed her. Words cannot express how special Laura truly was.
They have a large group of friends they celebrate with several times a year, the Friendsgiving Crew. This group is considered an extended family and they have enjoyed life’s milestones together. They now join Alan, Emma, Gabe, Anthony, and Michael in mourning Laura’s passing. She was the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She will be missed.
