Obituary
Mrs. Lee Z. Hawley, 83, died Sat, December 31, 2022, at her home with her family at her side.
Lee was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 18, 1939, the daughter of Isadore and Tillie Moses Leibowitz. Lee married Ronald Hawley in April of 1971 and celebrated over 40 years of marriage before his passing in 2014.
Mrs. Hawley was an entrepreneur of sorts, proud of her various small business operations over the years. However, Lee was most proud of her grandchildren, and being such an integral part of their lives.
Those left behind to cherish Lee’s memory include her son, Michael Hawley and his fiancée, Paula; her two grandchildren; Kyle and Cody Hawley; and her sister, Diane Dyer and her family.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2022, from 4-6pm at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee. Burial will be private, in the spring, at the Otis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Lee’s memory to the Otis Library in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
