With heavy hearts, the Driscoll family announces the passing of our most beautiful Mother at the age of 91. Marjorie went peacefully, with her family by her side holding her hands on January 17th, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles and son Richard Driscoll, and two grandchildren.
She leaves behind her daughters Kathy King of Lee, MA, Sharon Brauns of Broomfield, CO and son, Todd Driscoll and his wife, Amanda of Pittsfield MA, her nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Marge walked many paths in her extraordinary life, as a devoted wife, mom, Nursery School teacher, Bed & Breakfast host and friend to many.
She and Chuck enjoyed winters in Okeechobee, Florida for over 30 years where they made many new friends and had such fun enjoying retirement.
Marge loved to be involved with dance productions and plays. Any excuse to dress up and be fashionable, you could count on her to partake.
A cancer survivor and a survivor of life and all the hardships placed upon her, she will be remembered as one of the most loyal, kind, best friend a person could have.
Marge loved to laugh and she deeply loved her family. She is and will always be missed.
The joy she had these past few years living with her daughter, Kathy, have been a gift to them both. They shared so many belly laughs that both their stomachs hurt~
She lived a full life.. has both given and received an abundance of love.
Her new Journey has now begun and her legacy lives on through her remaining children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the compassionate team of: Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 877 So. Street 1W, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Marjorie & Chuck Driscoll wanted their Memorials and Celebration of their Lives to be at the same time. The date will be announced in the springtime.
