Mark "Birdman" Kohlenberger

Mark "Birdman" Kohlenberger, born on December 6, 1962, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, in Pittsfield at the age of 63.

A lifelong resident of the Berkshires, Mark graduated from Lee High School in 1982. He was a devoted sports enthusiast who found great joy in cheering for the New England Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. 

In recent years, Mark became a cherished member of the Soldier On community in Pittsfield. There, he formed meaningful connections with a close-knit group of friends who enriched his life and shared in his journey.

Mark is survived by his beloved mother, Georgette Kohlenberger; his brothers Adrian Kohlenberger (Celia), David Kohlenberger (Tammy), and Erick Kohlenberger (Laurie); and his sister Michele Maciorowski (Ricky). He was predeceased by his father, Richard Kohlenberger.

Mark will be remembered for his humor, kind heart, and bright spirit. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
