Mary L. (Drumm) Cardarelli

Mary L. Cardarelli, 91, formerly of Chester, died Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Lee Health Care where she has resided since 2016.
Mary was born in Lee on March 30, 1933, the daughter of Earl and Ethel Sour Drumm. She was raised and educated in the Lee Schools.
In her younger years, she worked at the A&P Market in Lee, Bendix Corp, then the Country Curtains Company from where she retired from.
Mrs. Cardarelli also volunteered at Gateway Regional Middle School. She enjoyed oil painting and making dolls.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her two sons: Tino Cardarelli of Chester and Glenn Cardarelli and his wife, Kay, of Ludlow, MA; her three grandchildren: Leigh Hebert and Kelly Desilva and her husband, Steven, of Ludlow, MA and Matthew Vreeland of Woodsville, NH; and her sister: Sandra Townsend.
Besides her husband, Nunziatino “Tino” Cardarelli, who died January 14, 2024, she was predeceased by her three sisters: Nancy Bertelli, Janet Brazee, and Bernice Sohl; and her three brothers: Elbert “Sonny” Drumm, Earl Drumm, and Elbert Drumm who died in infancy.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Cardarelli will be held on Tuesday, October 1st, 11AM at the Kelly Funeral Home. A Visiting Hour will be held from 10AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Chester.
