With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Mary Anne (Nagle) Forrest, 73, on December 23, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and husband of 50 years.
Mary Anne was born on December 19, 1951, and a graduate of Lee High School class of 1969. She worked as a certified x-ray technician, leaving to focus on her family. She spent many years working within the Lee High School cafeteria while home-sewing for country curtains.
Mary Anne was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and the embodiment of kindness to everyone who got to know her. She doted on her family and was happiest when entertaining, cooking and baking for family and friends. She loved to prepare lasagnas, spaghetti, roasts, and an ever expanding baking selection, most notably Italian cookies, Christmas cookies, and Zucchini muffins.
Mary Anne is predeceased by her father, John Nagle and survived by her mother, Norma Babinski; her husband David Forrest; her children David and Kellie Forrest; two grandchildren Nolan and Avalene; her sister Kathleen Smith; a brother-in-law Leonard Forrest, a sister-in-law Eileen Miller; and Buddy (her Jack Russell). In addition she also leaves her nieces, nephews, many cousins, and their children who always received special attention. Mary also had an ever blossoming group of best friends; some recent and many more that have endured more than 60 years.
Special thanks to Phelps Cancer Center and Hospice for their special care.
