Matthew A. Curtin, 58, died Sunday October 15th at his home on Main Road in Tyringham. He was born on October 17, 1964, the son of Peter L. Curtin Sr. and Deanna Williamson Curtin. He was a graduate of Lee High School.
One of three boys, he was considered the best hunter and bass fisherman in the family. For a number of years he owned his own roofing company and later worked as carpenter.
He is predeceased by his mother and father and his brother Jamie Curtin. He is survived by two sons: Dillion Curtin, his wife Alicia and Devin Curtin; his brother; Peter L. Curtin Jr. and his wife Missy. Matty also leaves his longtime companion Joni MacDonald.
Funeral services for Matty Curtin will be on Saturday, October 28th at 10 AM at the Union Church in Tyringham. Burial will follow in the Tyringham Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday evening from 4 – 6 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.
