Mr. Michael J. Williams, 56, of Lee, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2026, at Berkshire Medical Center after a long term illness. He was born in Pittsfield on October 17th, 1969, son of Joseph K. and the late Linda M. Markham Williams. He attended Lee schools and graduated from Lee High School. After graduation he spent many years working on cars as a mechanic for different companies in the Berkshires. His love for this grew into working for himself and later becoming partners with his father at Williams Auto Repair. His favorite hobbies were fast cars and riding his motorcycle on the open road. He also enjoyed going to Lebanon Valley Speedway for the stock car races with his friends on Saturday nights.
Michael is survived by his father Joseph K. Williams (Candie), his siblings Laurie Wade (Rick), Sheri Borsotti, Mikki Sturgis (Sue). Many nieces and nephews and his long time friend Pamela Streeter.
He is predeceased by his mother Linda M. Williams, sister Annette M. Malumphy, and brother Frank (Tony) Borsotti.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors in the ICU at Berkshire Medical Center from their compassion and care over these last few weeks and the Lee Police Department for all of their help.
A funeral service for Michael will be held on Wednesday April 8th, at 11AM at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee. Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening, April 7th, from 4-6 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
