Mildred (Mim) Rose Taylor died December 10, 2020 at Berkshire Place in the care of her extraordinary caregivers. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 31, 1926 to George and Mary Castignoli.
Mim lived in Queens Village, NY, Ridgefield, CT, Jaffrey, NH and lastly in Lee, MA. She was blessed with wonderful neighbors and friends.
Mim was a homemaker for most of her life, at sixty she took on a bookkeeper job for Castignoli Enterprises and Jan Greene Physical Therapy for the next twenty years. (Sometimes being asked to rob Peter to pay Paul…she was never amused).
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Lee, MA.
Mim was predeceased by her husband William Taylor, her beloved daughter Patricia Ann Taylor, her sisters Evelyn Coates, Ruth Castignoli, and her brother George Castignoli.
Mim is survived by her nieces and nephews: Joe Coates and Jan Greene, Ellen and John Clinton, Beth and Evan Heirs, Charles Castignoli, Louise and Ameda Maestri, Charles Maestri, and their children, Dennis Castigonli and George Peter Castignoli,as well as the many people she befriended along the way.
Our sincerest thanks to the staff at Berkshire Place, and Berkshire Medical Center for their compassionate care, as well as her caregiver and friend Jen Roosa.
Graveside services will be private in Fall River, MA. There are no calling hours. A memorial celebration of Mim’s life will be in the spring.
