Patrick K. Toomey

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick K. Toomey announces his passing on January 4, 2021 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Patrick was born in Pittsfield on May 19, 1960, to the late Daniel and Jane McKeon Toomey. After Patrick graduated from Lee High School in 1978, he made the bold decision to move himself and his skills out west to Las Vegas. He spent the majority of his career as a juvenile probation officer for Clark County, Las Vegas. Patrick was very proud of his Irish heritage, was an avid runner and thoroughly enjoyed his many ski trips with his great friends and family. Patrick also was a passionate Boston sports fan and always did his best to find a way to get to any game possible when he came home to the Berkshires to visit his greatly missed friends and family. Patrick leaves his son, Ryan Toomey (fiancé Stephanie Adem) of Los Angeles, CA, sister, Kathleen Leslie of Laceyville, PA, brothers James Toomey (Donna) of Lee, Brian Toomey (Lina) of Pittsfield, and Thomas Toomey (Karen) of Lee. He is also survived by his sister in law Valerie Toomey of Lenox and many nieces, nephews, and cousins from all around the world.

Patrick was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brothers: Michael, Daniel, and Kevin Toomey.

Services for Patrick will be announced at a later date.
