Rick J. Hiser, Sr.

Rick Joseph Hiser, a devoted father, husband and hardworking man, died in a tragic accident on July 04, 2024. 

Rick was born on November 8, 1982 and was raised and educated in Lee.  

Rick was a nature lover who spent countless hours tending to his animals and plants on his farm; his lemon tree bringing him great joy. In his honor we are continuing his efforts on running the farm. Rick had a heart of gold and an incomparable work ethic and was always busy helping others and always building new things for the farm.  He always made time for his daily walks with his three loyal dogs. Rick looked forward to Sunday’s and spending quality time with his son, Ricky, Jr, teaching him how to be the best man he could be.

Rick leaves behind his cherished wife, Nancy Hiser, his son Ricky Hiser, Jr., and his step-daughter, Coral Lobovits. Rick also leaves behind his mother and step-father, Becky and Shaun Fitzgerald; his father, Albert Hiser; his brother and sister-in-law, Allison and Todd Fitzgerald; his sister, Brianna; his niece, Jade, as well as his extended family members and his friends. In addition Rick also leaves behind his three dogs: Wisteria, Jack, and Aspen as well as his “ladies” aka his ducklings whom he adored. 

He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family.  A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held in August, at a date to be announced, once we have time to grieve and get the farm under control.
