Roxine L. Adamoli Carty, 80, of Washington Mtn Road in Lee passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024.
She was born in Pittsfield, MA on November 13, 1943, the daughter of Victor F. and Genevieve Perry Adamoli. She was a 1961 Graduate of Lee High School and lived in Lee all of her life.
Mrs. Carty worked at Marion Fathers in Stockbridge before marrying her high school sweet heart, Bob Carty on February 10, 1962. Over their sixty-two years together, she worked as secretary of Beaver Builders Business and later as his partner in Beaver Self Storage. She enjoyed music, dancing, fashion, antiquing, reading, gardening (especially her deck garden and butterfly garden). She loved spending time with her family as often as possible.
She leaves her husband and best friend, Robert M. Carty; her special sons: Matthew P. Carty of Lee and Robert D. Carty of Springfield; she is predeceased by another son: William P. Carty in 2012; she is survived by her wonderful grand children: Joshua R. Carty of Lee, Jessica M. Carty Montini of Westfield and Sara N. Carty of Pittsfield; her great grandchild: Liam K. Carty of Lee; her brother: Gary P. Adamoli; her sister: Terry A. Ernst; she is also predeceased by a brother: Ronald M. Adamoli; she is also survived by Belle Adamoli, Patricia Clark, Susan Treat and her husband Bryan along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday evening, May 23rd from 4-6 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 24th at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lee. Friends wishing, may make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in c/o the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
