Shirley J. Meyer, 87, of Lee, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
She was devoted to her family and a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She could always be counted on for her wisdom and compassion. She enjoyed reading, gardening, eating out (especially sweets) and spending time with family. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and her furry friend, Edo. She was a native of West Liberty, West Virginia before moving to Ohio and then to upstate New York to raise a family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Meyer, as well as her sister, Ruth Ann (Gregory) Spyker. Additionally, she is survived by her three daughters: Lisa (Richard) Dickson, Celia (Adrian) Kohlenberger, and Carolyn (Richard) Bender. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Bud, Clay, Lauren, Jeffrey, Robert, Ryan, Erica and Meagan and three great-grandchildren: Cole, Caroline, and Alexander.
Services will be private.
