Timothy V. Bianco, 52, of Lee, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 13, 2025, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.
Born August 27, 1973, in Pittsfield, Tim was the son of James J. and Diana (Longerato) Bianco. He grew up in Lee, graduating from Lee High School in 1991. He went on to earn his associate degree from Berkshire Community College and his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2003. Most recently, he worked as a warehouse shipper with Ray Murray Inc.
Deeply devoted to his community, Tim served proudly as a volunteer firefighter in Lee for more than twenty years. He was also an active member of the Alford Brook Club, where he especially enjoyed fishing with his sons. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy running the trails of October Mountain State Forest, hiking in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, and relaxing by the ocean in Wells Beach, Maine.
Family was at the center of Tim’s life. He loved coaching his sons in Lee Youth Association T-Ball and Basketball, as well as Lee Youth PeeWee Football. Each spring, he looked forward to foraging for morels and ramps, and every winter, he tapped trees to make his own maple syrup.
Tim leaves behind his beloved wife of 27 years, Brenda C. (Dupras) Bianco, and their two sons, Zachary and Jacob Bianco. He is also survived by his mother, Diana Bianco; his brothers, James Bianco Jr. (Kelly) and Michael Bianco (Jane); his mother-in-law, Rita Dupras; and his brother-in-law, Brian Dupras. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews—JJ, Nicole, and Nicolas Bianco—as well as his extended family and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, James J. Bianco, and father-in-law, Richard Dupras.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Lee, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In accordance with Tim’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lee Youth Football, c/o Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
