Tyler Pressley Obituary

Tyler Joseph Pressley passed away suddenly on Sunday May 23, 2021 at his residence in Lee, Massachusetts. He was born on February 19, 1994 in Troy, NY. Tyler was a 2012 graduate of Lee High School in Lee, MA. Tyler was a veteran of the United States Army. Once his tour was completed he attended and graduated from Lincoln Technical School in East Windsor, Ct. Tyler was employed as an electrician at Gable Electric.

Tyler was the beloved son of Curt and Geraldine (Dino) Pressley. He is survived by his brother, Joshua Pressley.

Tyler was a gifted athlete. His true passion was Crossfit. He enjoyed competing throughout New England. In 2017 he realized his dream of qualifying for the Crossfit Regionals. Tyler also enjoyed sharing his passion through the mentoring of others. He enjoyed hiking, biking, skiing, skateboarding, and kayaking. He displayed a natural ability in all physical fitness activities he undertook.

Tyler enjoyed his work as an electrician at Gable Electric, and we would be remiss if we didn’t express our sincere thanks to Clark Gable for standing by him. Tyler took great pride in his work ethic. He would send pictures of his work to his girlfriend Emily Koen. Thank you Emily for being his strongest ally. You, like a few others, felt and saw the love that Tyler could offer.  You were one of the lucky ones to see what a beautiful person he was.  We will always love you for that.

Tyler sought adventure and fun in his life. He loved to laugh with other people. We know he struggled in a life cut short. His irrepressible, mischievous behavior (most of it good) aside, those that knew him well felt the breadth of his kindness and his huge heart.

He can probably hear his mother and father asking him now if he is ok. We heard and forever will hear your reply, “I’m good.” We will always feel the warmth and comfort of one of your great hugs. We will always see those hazel eyes looking past our eyes and into our souls. Hopefully you have found peace, son.

There will be a private service with only immediate family.
