Mr. William Milton Larmon, 82, of Daytona Beach, FL, Hinsdale, MA, and former Lee, MA resident, passed away on September 2, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Affectionately known as “Bopper”, Bill was born October 6, 1942 in Hudson Falls, NY son of Brill and Helen Folger Larmon. Raised and educated locally, Bill was a graduate of Hudson Falls Schools and earned his bachelor degree from Syracuse University. In addition, Mr. Larmon proudly served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves.
Mr. Larmon’s vast career in the paper making industry took him to Hammermill, PA, Kimberly Clark Corp. in Lee, MA, and Mundet Dragon Paper mill in China, from where he retired.
Mr. Larmon was a supporter of the First Congregational Church of Hinsdale, where he spent his summers.
Bill loved playing golf and routing on his Alma Matter, Syracuse University, as well as the Boston Red Sox. Bill was proudest of his children and grandchildren.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, the former Joanne Shaler, whom he married on June 24, 1967; his daughter, Andrea Leah Larmon and her husband, Kenneth Konopka, of Lee; his son, Brett William Larmon and his wife, Leah, of Lenox; and his four grandchildren: Jack Oliver Tallboy, Alexa Imogen Tallboy, Shaler Arnold Larmon, and Jeffrey William Larmon. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Otto.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 12 Noon at the First Congregational Church of Hinsdale, located at 128 Maple Street. The family will receive friends at the church from 11AM until the time of the service.
