John Kelly

1935-2021

John J. Kelly, “Jack”, graduated from the New England institute in 1960, with a degree in Mortuary Science and immediately went to work with his uncle and brother. At that time, the Kelly family owned three funeral homes, in Lee, Lenox and Pittsfield and Jack worked for all of them. In 1993 Jack bought the business from his uncle and has owned and ran it ever since. He is a member of the Berkshire Hills Council knights of Columbus, and a member of the  4th degree Knights of Columbus, a former member of the Tri-Town Rotary, a Corporator at Lee Bank, a member of Greenock Country Club in Lee, and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Lee. 

Jack Passed away in February of 2021.  He will always be remembered in the community.

Michael Kelly

Michael J. Kelly, III, is a 4th generation Funeral Director with the family firm. He graduated from Westfield State College with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice in 1989. He joined his father and uncle in the business in 1990 and went on to earn his Mortuary Science Degree from Hudson Valley Community College, graduating in 1991. Michael currently resides in Lee with his wife and children. Michael gives back to his community by being an active volunteer fireman with the Lee Volunteer Fire Company.
